Gwynn might not hit for the highest average or take a lot of walks or hit for power or even field all that great but other than that he is awesome.

I don't think they're that stupid.

 

That said, I don't see what the point is of picking up Cameron's option.

The Reds are just teasing us. Allowing a leadoff homer and the next batter to reach, then an error. It's going to suck when we lose.
