Why didn't Yost do this when Hart was up with the team? Cirillo is nothing but a pinch hitter. I hope he can prove me wrong, but im not thrilled with the bottom of the lineup tonight.

Too bad Hart is not available tonight. As for the move, Prince can sit every once in a while and the world will continue to turn.

I'm sure Yost has his reasons for sitting Prince tonight. I just can't see how you can sit a hot bat though? Well I shouldn't be surprised because he did it with JJ Hardy last year too.

While I'm bummed about Prince being out, I understand it. It's been a long road trip, there is a flight tonight, a game tomorrow, and he's never played a 162 game season before. Hopefully Cirillo comes through. You know from last year that Prince can pinch hit.

i tell ya Ned makes me scratch my head sometimes. Did Prince not just hit a 2 run HR off a lefty last night and now he is on the bench ? Makes the Hart move look stupid when he could have gotten some at bats tonight. The things that make me go hmmmmmm !!

It's amazing to see how many RBI's Adam Everett has at the bottom of the lineup. Now that guy is producing some runs hitting before the pitcher.

How many games has Prince not started this year so far?

I don't think the issue is giving Prince the occasional day off. It has everything to do with his hot bat and a team that's lost 7 of 9.

Guys, a 250 pound rookie 1B needs a day off every once in a while, especially against a craft lefty that may very well make Prince look silly. Cirillo historically slams Pettite all over the park. I see no problem with this move. Ned is a match-up guy, and he's trying to get as many righties in the lineup against a tough lefty as possible.

I'm willing to bet we will see Prince at some point tonight.

And Gabe Gross is also a lefty...hence why he's on the bench.

Really dont like this lineup at all. Prince has hits in his last 3 abs last night and now he sits him. If a lefty should be sat it should be Jenks not Fielder. As soon as I looked at this lineup I was like aww crap. I love seeing Prince's name in thier everyday and when it isnt I am severly dissappointed. If Cirillo does need to play he needs to play for Hall as he is not hitting right now contrary to most peoples opinion. If I see Hall swing for the fences to left one more time on an outside letter high fastball I am going to break the TV. Hall is complety overswinging right now.

I really don't get it either. Prince is getting in his groove and seems to be swinging really well. Maybe do a double switch late in the game and put Prince's bat in there. Still don't like it.

Happy watching all, I will be back after I do another 6.5 miles, sigh, thinking mid 5th. No Koskie today, I am ok with that! I would really just love a win today you wonderful Brewers, so go get some!
