I fully expected Prince to strike out there with a man on and two outs, two strikes, so getting some good wood on the ball gives me hope he can take Coco deep for the walkoff win a bit later

I don't like this move very much. If they are going to be this concerned about saving a lefty for late in the game they should have kept Swindle on the team to have 2 lefties.

Tonight feels like one of those nights that every time Rock or BA says a definitive statement about a player, they go do the opposite. Maybe I'm just feeling karmically screwed after last night, but it's like they were just talking about how DiFelice is pitching well and can handle this situation - whoop, a double.

He is up there with Mike Matheny in my book, now.

The thing with Matheny though is he didn't even flinch.

That's true, he just stood there spitting blood and teeth, he did leave the game, IIRC (though it was probably not his choice).

I hope they said that Kendall stinks.

EDIT: They must have said that his fortunes were turning around or something.

Well, crap.

Two more innings to get a run, though, and as long as the Brewers keep getting guys on I won't be too dismayed. It'll be interesting to see if Cordero still gets a large amount of boos rained down on him when he enters the game.

He then trotted down the first base, without ever touching his face, and took his base. The Brewers trainers came out and eventually had to escort him off the field, against his wishes.

I said it last year when we got Coffey, but he reminds me a lot of David Weathers. Hard thrower, sinker/slider combo. We converted Weathers from rotation to the pen and he became effective. He also had virtually no success before becoming a Brewer, however, Coffey has had success before.

Man, if that ball would've just been a little to the right, it might've kicked off the wall oddly and given Hart a chance for an inside-the-park HR.

On a side note, a whole bunch of the Brewers' outs have been crushed in the last few innings. I figure that's a good sign.

I'm very surprised Cordero isn't coming in to face Fielder. Apparently, he hasn't even warmed up.

EDIT: Never mind, I thought Cordero was a lefty, for some reason.

I have a weird theory that Braun is just not right. There is no way that he would take this many walks unless something really was.

or he really is learning how to take pitches. This is the first 3 walk game of his career
