I remember watching Detroits crew on MLBtv when Verlander blanked us. They never mentioned it, though their cameras were on him in the dugout and they panned the 0's on the scoreboard on occasion. I thought that was an appropriate way to let people know what was going on without coming out and saying it.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

That or whoever's producing this game needs to cut his mic every time it sounds like he's going to say it.

So basically just have the producer cut his mic completely? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I think Bill has decided to engage in a conversation about anything and everything else, including Prince's sunglasses just to shut up BA.
That was entertaining I thought.

Heart stopped not going to lie.

Yeah Howard kind of did his homerun pose. The little swagger and then put the bat down and started a slow walk. I thought it was at least a double.

Yeah, Howard got me worried for a second, especially with that high camera angle on MLB.TV.

Same goes with that foul ball from Werth. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

That's part of the appeal of baseball for me. The superstitions like not talking about "that", don't step on the lines, routines on the mound or in the box.

He could have fun talking around it without having to say it.

That's all fine, and to a point, I agree. But people getting visibly upset about it? If Bush doesn't go the distance with this, it's not because BA mentioned it in the booth.

Speaking of Bush vs Toronto, wasn't Rivera catching that game as well?
