Well, the offense hasn't exactly done much tonight, but it's not like Parra gave them any realistic chance to win.

 

Great job by Burns tonight. Hopefully he can stick around and continue to be a positive contributor.

Meltdown Manny. I was at softball tonight, get in the car in the 8th and it's 10-1 and I hear Uecker say Parra gave up 10 in 4 innings. This guy just has issues. I really hope they remove him from the rotation. Make a trade or give Dillard a chance. I just think Parra needs some Nashville.

I agree with this. It's time. The guy has all the ability in the world and just does not seem to have the focus to be consistent.

Considering we got rid of one huge problem today, I would surely hope to find another solved by tomorrow...put Riske on the 60-day, send Manny down to Nashville, call up Dillard and Smith.

I fear Parra may be the next Ben Hendrickson. A guy who put up good numbers in the minors and we heard how great he was and then never pans out. I hope I'm wrong, but I could see it happening.
