Wow that was a grinding game if I ever watched one. Nice to get a win. Hopefully we can turn our luck in day games around with another win tomorrow afternoon.

Nice game boys.

I have to admit that my heart skipped a beat on that grounder to Gamel.

I'm glad we had a force out at 3rd so he didn't have to make a throw.

Hats off to Trevor. Soup was...Soup. For the hits he takes; we could be a lot worse off then him taking a turn every 5th day.

I won't lie; I had my eyes shut and was just hoping the crowd reaction was happy/relieved instead of groaning.

My psyche desperately needed a happy diversion tonight, so I'm very glad the Brewers held on. From the Elvis impersonator singing the national anthem to Hell's Bells at the end, it was entertaining most of the time, and (as previously mentioned) definitely a grinder. Soup was adequate; I guess I'll take adequate. I happily delivered a 'sieve' chant to Chris Duncan after his miscue in LF, but I don't think he saw me. I booed TLR whenever he appeared from the dugout.

Skip Schumaker appears to have grown a porn-style mustache. Not sure what that brings to the table.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Are you a hockey fan? This could be part of the hockey fan in you. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

It brings the ability for Schumaker to star in porn films once his baseball career is over. Might as well start growing it now so he gets recognized.

Seems many of the Cardinals are going with those ridiculous staches. A grind it out game but a win, felt good.

The question is, can Parra keep it going today? I hope so, I'm willing to give him a chance. Maybe his mental problems are behind him and he can just pitch now.

Boy, does the team have Manny by the short hairs, or is it the other way around? I'm not sure what direction DM goes if Manny isn't adequate.

On the bright side, the Cardinals perform badly against lefties (or at least their fans believe so). LHPing is to St. Louis what SPs making their big-league debuts are to Milwaukee.

well forget about this game the brewers are dead right now
