First of all, Dave Bush tossed in a "B" game against the Rangers in Surprise today. We may hear bits and pieces about that game from the usual sources.

CHAT ROOM, CHAT ROOM, CHAT ROOM for tonight's action (yes, tonight's, not "this afternoon's"!)

Actually, it'll be interesting in the chat room. Some may be listening live to WTMJ or watching on MLB.com as of 8:00 PM. Others may pop in while watching the tape-delayed game on MLB Network at 10:00 PM. That could prove to be quite the time.

Or you could all just watch NCAA basketball http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif. (But DVR the Brewers' game!)

Box score here

Whether you watch MLB.com or MLB Network, be aware that it will be the Rangers' broadcast team.

Here's your online linkage for audio / video.

Gameday, which is pretty much functioning normally for most of the action now, can be found here.

ON THE MOUND: Also scheduled to pitch tonight after Manny Parra (subject to change) is RHP John Axford, LHP Mitch Stetter, RHP Chris Smith and RHP Marco Estrada.

MINOR DETAILS: In uniform from minor-league camp is RHP Nick Bucci.

A Nick Bucci sighting on MLB.TV / MLB.com would be very sweet, eh? (Canadian reference)

The basketball game I was following is over, so there are actually multiple chatters in the room (as of 8:30 PM).

Bill on Corey Hart:

He's not really seeing the ball as well as he would like right now.
/facepalm/

I'd hate to spend the meaningless spring training games getting used to corrective lenses. No, save that for the games that count. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Someone at BCB (hat tip, as they say) noticed that the Star-Telegram posted a box score of this afternoon's Dave Bush "B" game. It's a PDF file.
Another nice outing from Dave. And Lo Cain with another solid day at the plate. If he stays injury free this season he should do well at AAA. Could be in the mix next season for a big league job.

No walks, 5 K's for Parra, but 6 hits and 5 ER in 5 IP. Ouch. Not a good performance, but silver lining is no walks I guess.

I don't know about the rest of the game but the first inning he didn't pitch bad. He gave up a little bunt single that died in the thick grass and then a really good power hitter took him deep. He threw the ball pretty well though. I don't know about the other 4 IP, 4H and 3 ER though because I had to go to bed. As long as he isn't walking people I think you have to call his outing good though. If he can cut out the walks the rest will follow.

Yeah, he was fine.

Third inning he gave up a double, sacrifice bunt, groundout (scored the run) and another groundout.

Fifth inning was a groundball single, triple, single and then he struck out the side. Maybe there was a little fatigue at the end.

I don't think he pitched badly at all though.

I feel really good about the future of this bullpen when I see the stuff from Axford and Braddock, not to mention Michael Fiers. Wait, I just mentioned him...

The last game i was at on monday (i believe), Fiers struck out the side on 12 pitches. He looked tough.
