Epic fail, George. I am at the game. Citi Field is nice. They have three screens so you can't miss anything! They also post random factoids about each player. Did you know Kottaras' only three hit game came against the Mets?

Brad Fischer might be a worse 3B coach than Chris Bando was. Wow.
Yeah, you wonder what made him think Cali could score from 2nd. Well, gotta move forward.

Incidentally, the Brewers report that Ryan Braun was a late scratch today with a stomach virus. Too bad Mat Gamel needs the toe surgery.

Dang, Prince. Just dang. Hell of an effort on that catch.

I see thablingster has phone service in Citi Field. Is there any point in our watching the stands for you? Are you rocking Brewers gear?

There are only like three versions of Jerry Garcia's "Tailgate Tips," right? The true bleu cheese burger with Uncle Phil's Mustard, something with brats, and some other recipe?

That salmon steak one and that dish with eggs.

I miss "Bill's Grill".

It would take a shot for a ball to get to me. I am in the second deck down the left field line. I have a Brewers hat on though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Aww, no RBI for Joe.

Someone in the Citi Field audience, probably not thablingster, keeps yelling something about Corey Hart. I didn't hear their reaction to his home run, but it doesn't sound like friendly yelling, so they're probably not happy about the home run. But I am. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Edit: BA and Rock are engaging in epic late-season banter. They were talking about Deuce, the kid who does the blogging on FSWisconsin.com, and Brian said, "His classroom smells of rich mahogany."

Lucas Duda uses All Along The Watchtower as his batting music, I instinctively began looking for Craig Counsell, lol.

I'm tempted to watch Tenth Inning, but I know it'll be replayed, whereas live baseball is just about done. Plus Madison is still coming down from the President's visit. Too much to geek out over tonight!

Bummer to see Carlos Beltran as a shell of his old self. Used to be one of the most complete players in the game, but his knees are just gone now.

Is Citi Field right by an airport? It sounded like a plane just roared by.

Also, nice job manufacturing the third run. Edit: Here's hoping McNewGuy can make it hold up. Make that...Zach.

Citi is nearish to an airport. I wish Ken would put in Ax and be done with the bullpen merry-go-round.

Well, there you go. Come on, John. Make our late-season attention worth while.

If Braun is out there, that is a run. Get a double play, Ax!

Good game. No one to blame, Mets just gritted one off of Ax. I enjoyed my Citi Field experience.

The gumbo recipe is the third one I was thinking of. But I'd forgotten about the salmon steaks, so I guess there are at least four.
