We are in the 3rd game of the year and people are already up in arms. Give it some times and just enjoy a few games before making these drastic changes. We haven't even had opening day in Milwaukee yet. Gomez may not be the best option for the 2 hole but what other options do we really have. Maybe in a bit Morgan will be there. Hart probably hits there when he gets back. Betancourt may be ok after a couple hitless games. All things that cannot be determined yet.

I want them to get a win today and even if Gomez has something to do with it lets face it, he sucks. Morgan has shown in the past he can get on base. Ill take that over anything gomez can do. Hes Chuckie Carr all over again.

Melvin is stubborn in a way. He wants to find that "gem" that people are down on (Betancourt) and tries to prove people wrong. I recall him using RBI's to disprove how truly bad of a player Betancourt is by saying "he had more RBI than Hanley Ramirez last year".

 

Those dumb, random comparisons irritate me most about Melvin. Like when he was comparing Dave Bush's #s to Joe Blanton.
