Nice at-bat for Casey. I'm liking how we keep pecking away, despite the fact that we shouldn't have to be playing catch-up in this one.

6 IP, 2 ER, quality start for Wolf! In all seriousness, Wolf throws as hard as Marcum or Narveson and as a LHP his velocity isn't even all that low, it is more about location than velocity with his problems.

Why didn't Roenicke put in Green to face Baker?

 

He had Green warmed up. A guy is on third. Baker has been lighting up Wolf. And then he pinch hits for Wolf anyways.

Reed is a proven commodity at being garbage, but he makes the team because of some meaningless spring training hits.

Baker mashes lefties and is useless vs RHP so that is a very valid question danzig.

 

I really don't want to watch Marmol throw 20 balls called for strikes to shut us down tonight. I swear with a computerized strike zone he'd walk every hitter he faces but the movement is so extreme he confuses the umpires and they figure a few of them must be strikes.

If I have to listen to Len and Bob one more inning my head is going to explode. Len Kasper sounds like a teenage boy just going through puberty.

 

 

So painful...I finally had to go to Ueck & Cory on my phone with the Cubs picture. Took a while to sync up, but it's working now...much less aggravating. Those guys are horrible.
