How perfect has this worked out? Kotsay plays center all game to hit, does well at the plate and luckily doesn't have a ball hit to him. Gomez comes in as a defensive replecement and immediately makes a difference.

Days like this you wonder how the team isn't more than 10 games over. Then you remember they just lost a home series to the Mets. Funny game.

 

I think they are getting better, and maturing as a team as they do, but there are still some pretty big holes in the lineup.

 

Coming home after a winning road trip would be great. If they don't win 3 (or more) of these next 7 questions will persist.
