Dear Brewers, stop swinging at junk. It's okay to take pitches. Thanks, me.

that's a bomb, and a chick in a Pedroia jersey got the ball. The one Red Sox player I actually like

and its time to take out Yo...no need to keep him in this game

Will they ever pitch inside to Pedroia and knock him off the plate, or are they going to continue to let him dive over the plate. This game is totally different if one of those fouled off 1-2 pitches in the first inning is instead thrown at his chin. Instead they might as well place a ball on a tee for him.

I'm sure it's difficult to call balls and strikes when it's a knuckleballer, but these high strike calls are brutal. Some of been 4-5 inches high.

If the Cards lose the Brewers will expand their lead during a 2-5 week. Either way they spend the whole week in first. That's OK. Plus the Brewers went to Fenway and they had the Royals at home.

except that the Reds picked up a few games because they actually had a good week.

I don't care what anyone says about all this "well we are still in first stuff." I'm fine with 1-2 against the Red Sox, but with our pen having to pick up 14 innings over three games and that we should have one 3 against the Cubs is a real kick to the pants. This should have been a time where we expanded our lead, not barely held on.

Well at this point in the season I care way more about how many games over .500 we are than a division lead. The 2 games we lost this series happened because the Red Sox are really good and their entire lineup hit as well as they can hit. All I learned this series is that I am so glad we don't play in the AL East.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Is it me, or do we seem to have more problems with the sun than other teams? This series was frustrating but there are lessons to be learned. Hopefully our hitters will decide to work the count the way the Red Sox do. The Red Sox don't make a lot of mistakes.

We'll see how it turns out but I think the Reds and the Cards have more problems than the Brewers do.

And the Cards might be getting another big one.

...and the Cardinals still have to get through their own meetings with top teams from the AL east...oh, wait...

Man this Boston offense is good. Think how many runs they would score if they were sacrificing and squeezing all the time?

As for the DH thing, the fact that the Brewers added Kotsay, Wilson and Gomez's bat to the lineup is sad.
