Nice to see a crowd of over 40,000 on a Tuesday night. Having school out helps, but that is still very impressive for any team in MLB to draw a crowd like that on a weeknight.

On the bright side, Greinke was starting tonight on my fantasy team.

 

On the down side, so was Bumgarner.

I had Bumgarner and Doug Fister started. Obviously you know Bumgarner was terrible but Fister went 8 innings giving up 1 run and the Mariners had a 5-1 lead going to the bottom of the 9th. The bullpen then proceeded to give up 5 runs and it cost Fister and me a win.

Great win by the Brew Crew. It had a little bit of everything..good starting pitching, some small ball, a dinger (by Yuni no less), and a lights out bullpen.

Had a great time at the game tonight despite sitting in the Stitch n Pitch section. Those "needle artists" sure were quiet. I was shocked by the number of people who were actually knitting the entire game. I thought it would be all bobble nerds (like myself).
