New Addition to the Brewerfan Nation

My wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday night at around 10 P.M. She ended up needing to have a C-section, but my little boy came into the world with a bang. They sent me and baby back to our room while mom was being stitched up and we were just in time to see Corey Hart hit the 3-run jack to put the Brewers up big.

He was 8 lbs. 8 oz. and 21 inches long. We named him Owen Thomas Bilitz. Mom and baby are doing well. He wasn't in the room yesterday when the Brewers lost. I am 2-0 with him on my lap.

Tomorrow, I will start teaching him to throw a changeup!

Thats great, congrats. Definitely work on that changeup rather than forcing him to throw with his left arm. Im pretty sure we are born either left or right handed, however, we all can be taught a nasty change.

All I can say is, keep Owen close. Keep. Owen. Close.

And congratulations.

That's a big boy. Perhaps you could start grooming him to take over for Fielder.

Sure is. I believe I was 9 1/2 pounds and I make Prince look tiny these days.

Hope he's watching with you tonight....and congrats!

I assume Owen was on JenksFan5's lap tonight. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I did indeed watch the game with Owen last night and left the room briefly to get something and Carlos Lee immediately hit a home run. I stayed glued to the chair holding him from then on.

We are all home from the hospital now and will be watching our first game from home.

His first game in person will be on July 20th and we'll see if his good luck rubs off then. I am thinking it might be the perfect night for a perfect game.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone and go Crew!

I would be more than happy to show photos but how does one post a pic on the site?

Do I have to put the pictures on a website?

I am decent with technology in some things, but haven't done much in this area.

Ha! Tax Deduction.

Very nice pictures. I remember when mine was that small, good stuff.

Someone should sell a bib that reads "Brewers, Brewers, Keep Turnin' Up the Heat!"

Nice to meet you, Owen. Stay close to dad for the next few months. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Or 20 years. I'd be cool with that too.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
