Not even close. Basketball players practice free throwing every day. Penalty kicks are just a tiny part of soccer skills.

What is with all the excuses today, first a ball bounces off Weeks glove and people want to forgive him because it was hit hard, who cares, he is in the majors. Same with this, these players are in the World Cup and they cant put the ball within a 24 by 8 foot box from 10 yards away? No excuse, unbelievably pathetic.

It's like popping up a pitch ... she got under it, it happens. Also, there is another person inside of that 24 x 8 ft box trying to stop you from kicking the ball into it... makes things a little bit harder.

Regarding Weeks... he should have caught it, but are you expecting him to have a perfect fielding percentage? People make mistakes ... move on.

Late 80s back at County Stadium we had Carney Lansford laughing his behind off one night. We drove the 3 hrs down to the game, had an extended tailgate and then the game didn't start until after 9:00 due to weather. Since about 1500 people stuck aroudn for the game they allowed us to go sit down right along the rail by the Oakland dugout. Best time I ever had at a Brewers game.

If Yuni loses his job he needs to be DFA'd . Not htat this will ruffle anyones feathers but if he wants to be productive AT ALL he needs consistent at bats. This feels dirty even saying but he is even more useless in a bench role.
