Braun has to be playing 1B next year. He is absolutely the worst OF regular in MLB.
No he is not, he made an error which happens sometimes, he just picked a bad time for it. He occasionally makes great catches and occasionally makes great throws which many outfielders cannot say
Braun is horrible at judging a ball at all in the OF unless it is hit right at him. He has horrible foot work in the OF when it comes to throwing out a runner.

Well, if we lose this game we have no one to blame but ourselves. Both Braun and Fielder cost us a run.

Not to mention the bases loaded no outs, no runs inning. But, hey, it happens. Maybe one gets a shot at redemption.

If you are better than the competition, you want a 7-game series. If the competition is better than you, it is better to have a 5-game series.

The Giants don't scare me. The Phillies are clearly better but in a short series anything can happen as we saw last year.

yep; this was on my mind today. do we stand a better chance against the Phillies in a 5 gamer vs a 7 gamer?

 

I say it's the former.

Yes, but if SF plays them first, there's a chance they can knock them off first. Like last year for example. Then we have HFA for the NLCS. That's the dream scenerio.

The hardest ball to judge is the one hit right at you. I am not saying he is the best OFer but just based on the fact that he is fast means he cannot be the worst one. Berkman is much worse, to name one from this game

One broken bat hit and it's like Rodriguez turns into a different pitcher... nibbling. Edit: Got out of it. Way to the finish line without facing their heart again. Need a run here to make it be so.

I am trying to understand the issue with KRod some people have. People act like Saito has been head and shoulders better than him recently but that is just not true. Both give up base-runners but seem to work out of it for the most part.
