It doesn't matter if the tickets are free, these crowds above 35,000 on an April weeknight against the Astros are ridiculous. These games used to have crowds in the 15,000 range, even when the Brewers were decent in the '07-'09 years. If the Brewers make a run at the division title, they will easily beat the team attendance record again.

On a side note, I just watched the highlight of GoGo's HR (I fell asleep prior). That may have been the fastest trip around the bags on a HR EVER!!!! Hahaha. Got a kick out of it. All he does is go!

We noticed that too at the park last night, and I just watched the video clip. It could be just the way the clip was put together, but it looks like Carlos was already home before Bernie went down the slide.

 

thablingster and I have an unofficial "spot the ex-Brewer jerseys/shirseys" thing going. Practically every game has Hardys and Fielders on multiple fans. Last night, I saw a road Bryce Florie jersey. That's 1996 or 1997. I haven't even thought about Bryce Florie in I'm guessing at least the last decade. Props to that fan for the blast from the past.

 

Weirdness: the hawing household has now been to two Friday games, two Sunday games and two Tuesday games this youngish season. The Brewers are .000 on Fridays and Sundays, and 1.000 on Tuesdays. Guess that's baseball.
