Well the Willie Mays 4 HR game at County Stadium was last night's anniversary...and that was close but not quite for Brauny. Maybe we'll get a close scare from Mat the batt and he'll be back after a 15 day stint in the whirlpool.

 

What's tomorrow's anniversary...Hindenberg, Titanic or LaRussa's birthday? With Suppan pitching the compares could be endless.

In any other stadium tonight, Ryan Braun just hit a 2-run homerun.

 

In Petco, he has a long out on warning track. Right field is just unforgiving here.

The same announcement was made in the Padres press box, and audible over the Brewers Radio Network.

This strike zone is a joke. The 0-1 curve to Gonzo that was called a strike wasn't given to Marcum 5 minutes ago.

 

Nothing worse than an inconsistent umpire.
