i don't really mind it all that much. i wonder if it's one of those things he just kind of has to do to be comfortable, nyjer being nyjer (or nyjer being tony, i suppose). I doubt it has anything to do with it, but he's been pretty calm all year and he's been hitting poorly. that's probably more a product of hitting poorly (and at least he knows to tone it down when he isn't doing much)
