Is it me or does it seem like the shift has backfired more than its worked this year?
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

It's the first inning. Go after Kemp with the bases empty. That inning was really frustrating.

Exactly. Not like Ethier isn't raking. Didn't like that one bit. In hindsight after watching the rest of the inning play out, maybe he was trying to throw strikes and couldn't?

Yeah, he's definitely off. As a former pitcher, it's a REALLY bad feeling when you can't find the strike zone (I'm sure that's a big revelation). Didn't happen to me often, fortunately, but it was especially disturbing when it did because I was a control pitcher. Sometimes you just have one of those days.

Your control wasn't that great. I always raked when I faced you.

No kids tonight hawing...here with my buddy and his son. My friend is from Sussex's largest suburb, Waukesha...hehe. Would've loved to have my daughter show Mr. Braun her Braun-wear!

I'm thinking how amazed she might have been to meet the man who helped produce Ryan Braun. Though maybe she's not old enough to see it that way.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Well, Yo is looking A LOT better since the first. A bit of hard luck with those base runners that inning.

That was a pretty nasty pitch, cant be too mad with Brauny

It was sick. One of those cliche "gotta tip your cap to Kershaw" pitches.

Ransom being so far out in front last AB may be why they only threw him 1 FB in 7 pitches. Nice job laying off the changes that Corey couldnt

If Gomez is sill hurt why is he playing? Put him back on the DL ... I don't want a nagging injury all year

Nevermind :)

Rick Honeycutt was a great player in my 1990ish RBI baseball regular nintendo game. The As were so loaded, McGwire, Canseco Rickey and Dave Stewart to Honeycutt to Eck
