Oh boy, what's the story with Gallardo leaving mid-batter?

EDIT: Never mind, I see on twitter that he is limping badly. Cue the complaints about not trading him earlier!

They are reporting it is hamstring tightness for Yo, not a pull.

I've never been an Ax hater before but wow, can't even get Villaneuva out. And I guess 4 hits in row including the P isn't enough of a clue for RR. It's not like you're going to get any more outs out of him.

Let me take that trade value, soak it in kerosene, and throw a match on it....

Snakebit is a fairly apt description for this season. Was going to be tough from the start; getting little for the next few seasons via trade would be a kick in the gut.

This inning reminds me of a scene from Groundhog Day.

Melvin: We... might be able to trade Gallardo and Axford still.

[the truck explodes in a fireball]

Melvin: Well, no. Probably not now.

It's been a loooong road to the majors for Rob Wooten. I remember watching his domination in the lower minors and then his lost season (don't remember what he injured - maybe TJ?). Glad to see him finally get his shot and get a big W.
