hopefully Braun is playing through some type of injury because he has looked horrible at the plate. The brewers never play well on espn and maybe it was jet lag but hopefully they can come backand win the series. We need to be able to win at home here . I hope Matt has a better second half in him.

Matt only had a couple of bad innings tonight and made on big mistake that resulted in a HR. It looks like the Cards won so we're back to 4 and half up. :ohwell

Can we just move our home games to Colorado?

Heck, I'd ask the Nats if we can finish the series at their place. The laundry should be done by now.

sorry but Matt needs to step up in my opinion in the second half .

He's been stepping up pretty well already. His last six games:

6.2 IP, 3 ER

6.1 IP, 0 ER

6.0 IP, 3 ER

7.0 IP, 1 ER

7.2 IP, 2 ER

7.0 IP, 3 ER

ESPN is really fascinated with the sausage race. It's on the front page of ESPN.com.

That's because that's all they know about the Brewers.

And because Tim Kurkjian ran in it. Gotta self promote whenever possible!

How pathetic did we look in that 9th inning? ARam looked like Tim Kurkjian attempting to swing a bat and Davis didn't do much better. Clippard threw 90MPH right down the middle/upper outside of the plate and we swung at them like they were blow away Chapman 102MPH FBs. Really a ton of those swings last night, like is Colorado's mound 5feet further away than standard? We sure seemed to swing at pitches like we were standing 5feet closer to the pitcher in how late so so many swings were! I had a terrible feeling Gonzalez was going to shut this team down, I recall late in the season two years ago I think? where Washington pitchers just shut us down like we were AAA batters. Gonzalez I think had a CG shutout.

I really look forward to a RHP so Scooter can bat leadoff removing Weeks from the lineup.
