The HP umpire has strange mechanics. I swear he is going to ring somebody up each time and just kind of wanders back to a position behind the catcher.

Kind of surprised that we didn't put Gennett in there for that at bat. It's not like we need to save his lefty bat for later in the game--with Overbay and Schaefer still available.

I like how the camera guy always finds the drunkest fans during the mid-inning dances or whatever they do. No way a sober person dances like that guy.

Respect level jumped up quite a bit right there with Braun. One thing I will never do is take for granted how great of a hitter I get to watch every game.

Well, Braun showed up tonight, even though he's hurt. Too bad that the same cannot be said for most of his teammates.
