This has to be rock bottom. No where to go but up? On a positive side, despite this HORRIBLE slide the team is still 11 games above .500 and still in first place. In many of the previous years a slide like this would have put the Brewers out of the race.

 

Maybe the Brewers can get healthy while everyone else starts to deal with injuries.

 

A slump buster is needed indeed for these boys!

I don't know about those two, but it's logical. This is Major League Baseball, and I don't believe that MLB follows the rule 5 guys closely and warns teams about anything. To my knowledge that was an invention in another thread that has never been proven as nobody that I know of has ever been reprimanded for something like this, particularly the Brewers who did this exact thing with the last rule 5 guy they kept on the roster.

Smith went from 'virtually unhittable' to 'can't get guys out at all' in the space of a couple weeks. Good thing Gorzo's been decent so far since he's come back. Most of the rest of this pen is pretty 'meh' right now.

 

I added Smith to my fantasy team the same time he went from unhittable to...this. I accept responsibility for this dumpster fire.

Why can't we call up jeremy jeffress and use him? btw.. DM has waited way to long to call him up and it has cost this team and DM should be drilled on it till he can't breath. Jeffress is Henderson last seaosn, but with a bigger fastball. I guess Hendersons velocity is back which means adding him and jeffress to the bullpen are 2 huge upgrades. Then nelson to the rotation and WOW. What other team in the division has 3 in house upgrades like that which they can just add any time? I also expect a 1B man.
