I hope they put him out there for the 9th. Have someone ready if needed (a lefty and K-Rod). If he gets in trouble, take him out. Otherwise, give him a shot at finishing. He's only at 96 pitches.

This is not a tough decision at all. Gallardo has been dominant and doesn't look to have lost anything at all. I hate the "it's the 9th inning, so we MUST bring in our closer" mindset.

Yo better be allowed to try to finish. My only beef with Ron has been that sometimes he makes pitching changes when starters are dominating and have manageable pitch counts. Last night I would have kept Nelson in another inning or so.

Absolutely ridiculous "managing". RRR has warmed up 3 relievers in a game in which his starter has gone 8 innings using 96 pitches with only two 3 ball counts. It doesn't matter what the result will be, this is POOR.
