Being reported that Wiebusch is coming to Wisconsin out of the portal.  Huge get after losing Montgomery and Finley(expected).  Almost a point per game guy.

Rumors that Wisconsin is in on a goalie from the portal.  Hoping they are making a run at Justin Poirier from Maine. Roster is at it's limit, but that's never stopped teams before.

Was not anticipating a 6-1 Wild drubbing of Dallas at Dallas Game 1. Hard to imagine another game in this series that lopsided -Wild dominated in every facet throughout. Stars are a notoriously bad Game 1 team so I am not reading all that much into it. BUT, if Faber and Hughes play like they did G1 throughout the playoffs? And Boldy plays that motivated and willful? Wild are going to be a tough tough Out.

Congrats on beating the 2 seed in the first round! Surely you'll get an easier opponent in the 2nd round then!

The way they have the playoffs set up is absurd.  And I am not just saying that because it hurts the wild this year.

Huge Wild win. Needed that.

Badgers linked to Justin Poirier in the portal. Would be a massive grab.

Eli Pulver entered the portal. Saw that one coming.

Love to see that Zuc and Trenin actually practiced with the team today. Still listed as 'Questionable' but this is a big first step and Zuc held a long meeting with the #1 PP Unit on the ice. Those have been massive losses - especially on both PP units. IF the Wild can start eliminating these silly penalties (big IF - Dallas is very adept at getting into the PP), I really do believe they take the series. Both Goalies are playing lights out - an obvious 'X' Factor for both squads - but the Wild's 5-on-5 is head and shoulders better than this current Stars team (with their injuries). You add a healthy Trenin and Zuc to those already dominating 5 v 5's? Just massive. Swapping Zuc for Brink is just huge. Brink is not ready for the Playoff environment - nowhere near the talent our Norwegian Fjord Zuccy is. Not even the same League of impact.

The TB vs MTL series has been some must watch TV!

This game 7 should be pretty intense. Looking forward to a great game.

I am befuddled Montreal won 2-1 on 9 Shots.

It was a great game and the second goal by Montreal was a really unlucky or lucky goal depending on who you ask.

Tampa probably should have won that game 4-2 or something like that.  They had a lot of good looks but only 1 goal to show for it.  That first period was crazy that Tampa didn’t score at least once.

My San Jose Sharks just jumped up to #2 in the lottery. Deserved for me after the Brewers game got postponed.

Assuming Toronto goes predictably McKenna, I SO hope they grab Ivar and pair Him with their insanely talented young core. I personally like him more than McKenna regardless. He is an absolute Hoss.

Yeah the fanbase seems pretty split as to what to do. We are so loaded up with forwards and could really use a D. I’ve been hoping all year we would fall off and end up low enough to pick Chase Reid. Instead we win the 2nd pick and now I feel like you have to just take Stenberg and figure out the rest down the road. BPA is the way.

I think a Stenberg, Celebrini, Smith Sharks are in the playoffs. They've got the young William Eklund and vet Jon Klingberg as well. Sharks would be unwise to pass on Ivar - he is just a different depth of player who hit the SHL at his age and didn't blink. Plus he'll bring that healing Swedish sauna culture to the recovery room!

All I can say after the Wild collapse at the Avs last night is Hynes aint it manning the Wild bench. The Avs are absolutely the class of the League - an absolute wagon. MacKinnon is an absolute Hoss. Ek and Brodin missed the entire series - such a massive absence especially vs this Avs team. BUT, Pairing Middleton and Spurgeon again for an Elimination game (paired on the ice for 3-of-4 Avs goals); going into a defensive shell after jumping to the 3-0 lead; the failure to adapt to the situation game after game...it ultimately left the team out to dry.

Wild have some serious decisions to make across their roster. Billy G has shown he will do what it takes roster-wise. BUT, man alive, I hope he is looking at Cassidy or Knoblauch.

Bednar is a Savage.

So envious.😅

OMG that Buffalo and Montreal series was crazy!  This has to be one of the best NHL playoffs in awhile.  WOW! just wow! Back to back great series.  Probably going to be a let down after this.

What the heck happened to Colorado?  They looked like an unstoppable juggernaut coming into the playoffs and looked like it in the first two rounds.

Vegas has seriously dark magic happening, I think. Like, it's Faust-type stuff if they win the Cup.

I'll root for whoever comes out of the East, but I'm hoping the Habs can at least force a Game 6 in MTL. Raleigh is underrated as hockey town (which surprised me when we moved down there for a couple years). Hopefully one of those teams can take down LV.

This didn't age well 🙂

I caught the 3rd period of the game last night.  Montreal looked absolutely lost.  Looked like Carolina was doing the hockey equivalent of stealing signs.

I wonder what type of viewership a Las Vegas - Carolina cup final will get.
