2017-05-26: Diamondbacks (Godley) at Brewers (Guerra) 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 4-2, 10 innings]

Ok, we need a game thread tonight for Guerra's return.

1) Villar

2) Thames

3) Perez

4) Shaw

5) Santana

6) Bandy

7) Broxton

8) Arcia

9) Guerra

For someone who seemingly refuses to let Broxton anywhere near the top of the order despite more or less meeting offensive expectations so far this year, Counsell seems extremely stubborn about keeping Villar at the top. Hopefully it will pay off soon, we need to snap this streak. Go Brewers!

Thanks adam for the game thread. Not sure what's going on here lately but it stunk to not have one yesterday.

Guerra looks pretty good so far. Glad to have him back.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Dang. When things aren't going well, at bats like Broxton just had happen.

Offense is slumping badly. When is the last time they hit a HR? It probably hasn't been as long as I'm thinking, it just feels like it.

One might do it.

Wow, really JV? This team is just annoying to watch lately.

Agreed. But it wasn't always going to be sunshine and roses with this group.

Villar is really fortunate that didn't end up being a big inning because it would have been on him. Let's get some offense going.

Huh, so AZ pitcher "Zack Godley" isn't just a nickname for Zack Greinke...

good thing we have replay so that now there will never be a bad call again, only at the expense of removing the excitement of all close plays!

There is no point in having replay. What a joke. That call should have been easily overturned.

And CC needs to grow a pair and stand up for his guys with more intensity. Completely unconvincing fake toughness from CC there. I like the guy, but what a wimp he looked like.

Glad to see some emotion pour over from the Brewers. What a crappy decision made there.

We've gotten the bad end of a lot of replays the last couple of days--both overturned and not.

I had no idea Jorge De La Rosa played for the D'Backs.

Full circle, didn't he come here in the Sexson to DBacks deal?
