Either way Shaw was going to score on that play. The right fielder threw the ball back up into the bleachers when he picked it up.

Time shouldn't be called until the throw is completed by the outfielder. When the ball lands in the bleachers, then time should be called.

Very misleading. In his next to last appearance he came into a tie game and promptly allowed a walk and two singles and surrendured the lead.
