Pitch looked high to me...possibly why Braun stopped running.

It was high, out of the zone, and a late call. Braun probably started trotting to 2nd base thinking it was ball four.

It was. Full count hit and run. A ball well outside the zone got called a strike...not much we can do there. They weren't trying to steal a base. It was to get Braun a running start to avoid a DP.

Definitely high. No way it was in the zone. Totally undeserved break for WSH. Hopefully we're not looking back at that as a game changer. The second it happened, I feared it was.

Entirely possible. Even so, braun is a vet and knows better.

 

True, but as a man built of delicate China he probably isn't taking unnecessary risks.

It's crazy. Just go through that list of brewer games and look how many more call hurts there is. Frustrating.
