2018-06-06: Brewers (Anderson) at Indians (Carrasco) 12:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 3-1]

With all the Statcast data now I wonder if they can examine how much a bat misses the ball by on a swing and a miss. If they could, I suspect Domingo Santana would be amongst the league leaders.

Why did Counsell bring in Jeffress in the fifth inning instead of Hader?

One run lead with multiple tough lefties due up and guys on base already, that should be classic Josh Hader time.

Joey maybe he just he coming back down to earth .

I am not one to put a lot in Batting and Pitching coaches but maybe Coles is partially to blame

Benching Santana (or Braun for that matter) for a AAAA guy like Choi is asinine. Just no excuse for it. None. It’s what makes me feel like Counsell might not be the right man for the job.

Counsell is playing numbers on offense and defense. Brantlys double never would have happened with that crazy shift. Brantly is too good of a hitter to leave half the field open.

And LH batters have had better success against carrasco so Counsell played Choi over Braun or Santana. At some pt, we cant keep leaving sluggers on the bench for a 12 year 3A guy who hasnt ever produced and is barely batting .150.

Between choi and sogurd, Counsell is killing us.

Just in case yesterday didn't already suck enough, the Cubs won on a walk off grand slam.

The Marlins did beat the Cards, though. Second day in a row. Bad teams beat good ones a lot.

Right now, the Brewers have the best record on the NL. Not bad with an even 100 left. I think 54 wins gets them in the playoffs. 58 gives them the division. Starts tomorriw!
