Sogard will somehow stay. He’s survived this long being a negative impact on the team, why would I think any differently. Quite frankly it’s gotten embarrassing.

 

 

Sogard's ticket out of town is punched when Saladino returns.

I wouldn't count on it. They love having "Honey I shrunk the kids" around.

While obviously you'd rather not have seen Knebel give up the HR in the 9th, it made everything else matter. Broxton's HR robbery mattered. Orf's HR -- mattered.

Keon needs regular AB's and when Cain gets back that's not going to happen. Brewers theme this year is every guy on the 40 man is part of the total effort, regardless of whether or not they're playing in Milwaukee or Colorado Springs at the moment. They all seem to be buying into it.

Why does Keon need regular ABs? He's not a young prospect. He's fine as a 4th or 5th OFer who can bring speed, power and defense off the bench.

 

My main question on Keon is -- can he play corner OF? Because you're not going to generally sub out Cain late.

 

Also, we can all agree he definitely took a HR away this time, right?
