IDK, color me soft, but I think that slap was pretty flagrant. Guys do that every week, but they don't usually make such solid contact. I wasn't surprised at all he got tossed and thought Al & Chris were going a little hard on the reaction.

Of course they’ll confirm it. They rarely go against their crappy refs. I’ve seen way worse not ejected. But it is what it is. He’s still an idiot.

Worse has definitely not gotten an ejection, but you also have to get caught. And that still doesn't mean it's the wrong call, if others let it slide.

 

I'm just not up in arms over guys getting tossed for slapping. That shouldn't be tolerated in anywhere and he should know better. He's put the team in a horrible spot now...as we are seeing unfold.

What on earth is Brice doing there? The guy can only run so far, the end zone is right there. I don't think you have to hold him like he's running 60 yards downfield.

Yes, I absolutely agree. I came on to complain about THAT call and then the roughing call. Both were terrible. He threw the ball inside the tackle box, he didn't get it past the LOS and the WR'er was about 8 yards downfield.

 

This D is playing incredible....the young guys are hustling even with the injuries, Petitine is calling up the right plays and they're just finding ways to lose the game or the refs are giving the Pats every benefit.
