Wilkins isn't a need with a still very young Kenny Clark(he was just 20 coming out).

Clark is young, but that's the problem in two years - he will be a very expensive re-sign.

 

 

Yeah, but so what? Good players are expensive. You gotta pay to keep your talent. Don't wait two years. He's shown everything you need to see. Give him an extension going into next year(as in the 2020 years).

 

And Williams is gone now.

I liked Devin Bush. Packers supposedly liked him a lot as well. As noted, I wouldn't be surprised if that's why Steelers moved up.

Maybe trading down isn't really available. I hadn't ever seen Jones mocked before Haskins, so maybe there's something on Haskins that nobody is trying to trade up to get.

I wouldn't take Gary at 12. Too much bust potential and you still have two QB's who were supposed to be top 10 picks sitting there, and a couple teams that need a QB right behind you.

 

I'd love Gary at ~18.

 

Hard to complain about Taylor..though he's a little bit boring right now. But boring can easily translate to dominant running game in the future.

Again, after Burns interview, him getting up and stomping out after some basic questions, I find that unlikely. Plus, I don't like him. Not very physical. Hard to argue with the other two though.

That being said, Michigan ran a defense where the DL focused more on controlling the line and freeing up the LBs to make plays.

Running a 4.58 at 6'5" and nearly 280 is crazy.

did not realize Gary was ~280lbs - interesting options as an edge or even DE at that size in a 3-4 hybrid defense

He must be thought of as an OLB. I was thinking a 4-3 DE, but given his speed, it might not be bad.

Well, Gary is one of those guys who looks like they should be awesome, but he doesn't always play that way.

 

He only had 3.5 sacks last year - but is that because of the scheme or was it Gary not playing that well? Personally, I just haven't seen enough of him to really know. But I'm guessing the feels he can become and impact guy.
