I'm a bit surprised they didn't send Moose. From where I'm seated it looked like he most likely would have made it. However, I dont know how good Winker's arm is.

You don't want to send him with nobody out unless it's a 95+% chance of being safe. If 1 or 2 outs, maybe. Really unfortunate result in the Grandal AB though...it happens.

Given the significance of this game I would be fine with letting Hader throw 45 pitches.

If they can install Peralta as the closer, and move Hader back to his match-up multi-inning role, that could be a huge development for this team's fortunes moving forward.

I will say this before anything that may happen that is bad, but this has been such an enjoyable IGT. So nice after what’s taken place as of late.

 

Banning the 32 post a day guy has probably helped.
