Plush after Arcia again? Ya don’t say.

Lol :laughing

Coming from the guy that every time Braun shows up on the screen starts bowing in front of his TV.

Can’t wait till the next Houser start, can’t imagine what you will post.

Come on man, I don’t think you have room to speak.

Brew4U: #RyanBraunForever

Brew4U: Not a starter (Houser)

Plush: 50 posts on how he hates Arcia and can’t wait until he’s off the team.

Brew4u: Pokes fun at Plush

Plush: Overreacts because he doesn’t take jokes very well and is overly sensitive about Arcia

Annnnnnnd goooooooood niiiiiggggghhhht!

Actually, I think you just overreacted for getting fun poked back at you.

But carry on.

Great night from Chase. I hope he's in the rotation next year.

So slightly less terrible but way more expensive? Yippeee!

Well by BRef WAR Didi is 4x better than Arcia...so I guess it’s all in how you view it.

It also requires you to assume a player like that will actually become a free agent.

You’re far more likely to end up with a guy like Mercer who gives you not much for a higher cost.

Well I guess it is a good thing we get to find that out in the winter. Not like they really have to decide on Arcia the first day of the winter. They will offer him arbitration regardless. Really worst case you find something else and Arcia is a utility guy. Which previously I have mentioned them doing even if they find someone...keep him anyway. At least for next year when he is still cheap.

No. Arcia need to be off this team. Smiles way too much.

They have to address first, third, short and catcher and that says nothing of he pitching. One of those positions is going to be filled by a less than optimal choice. Do you want Arcia at short, Pina starting behind the plate or Shaw starting at third?

Personally I’d let Grandal walk if someone is pulling out a big multi year contract. I like a return of Moustakas because the cost will likely be reasonable once again for what he provides. I’d like to see an Arcia replacement if they can find a reasonable upgrade. I do not want a Mercer/Castro...I’d leave him be at that point. BUT then I’d be a little nervous with letting Grandal walk, tough as that would be I’d probably look to improving the pitching versus giving a big deal to Grandal.

I mean really the answer depends on pricing. I’m pretty much expecting/wanting a Moustakas signing because it should be a nice short term deal. Other moves it depends. I’d like to see two bats between 3B/C/SS.

On another note Shaw is a goner. He is expensive so he will get non tendered...and despite his poor play I am sure he wasn’t exactly thrilled being here this year.

Just address it with moose and Grandal. And be done with it. Do we have any ss in minors that can be here soon. Go that route

Sometimes Arcia pulls his head out of his you know what. Maybe he will do it again next year

What if Grandal gets 3/4 year offers? Can and should we really be spending money on that? For a 30+ year old catcher? That could be an instant disaster with the fickle catcher position.

I mean if Grandal is a nice short term option different story, but can’t assume that.

Grandal is such a perfect fit for this team. He should be resigned and slotted to bat in front of yelich all next year. He is a great hitter for the number 2 spot. His walk ability is amazing

Yes ... Tyler Saladino. That's it.

I mean, so many people want Arcia gone, but I haven't really seen a viable alternative yet that's not going to cost $15+ million per year on a multi-year deal.

Why does he have to be resigned as a catcher?

I was about to say "because he's a catcher." But when you think about it, that bat would play as a nearly full time 1B, and it isn't like he'd be blocking anyone.

Let Thames walk and use that money elsewhere.

The outfield is going to be interesting next year too. I can't see them keeping five guys that strictly play the OF.
