At what point in the 4th do you put Giannis on Durant?

 

Given the amount of "contact" it takes Durant to draw a foul, never.

 

I get that, but they may have no other choice. Just hope they don't call fouls on Giannis quite as easily.

He's one of those dudes that gets credit for being "high energy" because he plays fast paced 100% of the time, but he doesn't know where he's supposed to be half the time and a lot of his running around is recovery and just flat out chasing.

 

I like him for what he is. He can produce some offense, he can get a few boards, and he IS a *high energy* guy, but he shouldn't be playing significant minutes in a game that can make or break your whole season.

If I could make it there before the game ended I would drive there and slap each one of them across the face and ask them what they are thinking in offense. The fact that bud hasn't, at least seemingly, done anything for the last 21 minutes to change anything baffles me.

Bud has proven to be very adamant at not changing things or adjusting based on in game trends.

I don't believe the Bucks aren't good enough to win a title, but I do believe that they are fighting uphill trying to win a title with Coach Bud. What's out there that's better? I don't know. I think Bud is a *fine* regular season coach, because night in and night out, refusing to adjust doesn't cost you a playoff series.

 

ANY coach that understands that adjusting to who you're playing and understanding that sometimes shifting away from who you are a little bit and not being so stoically opposed to altering your identity, even a teensy bit might be a good idea.

Giannis is a lot of great things but when it comes to big players in big moments he can't hold Durant's jock.
