When we lost in Seattle in 2014 in crushing fashion, I couldn't even bring myself to watch a Brady/Seahawks Super Bowl. This might be the second time I don't watch the big game.

I knew better, but believed anyway. I should have learned after 2007, but didn’t. I should have learned after 2014, but didn’t. Unless there are hall of famers on D and a wicked pass rush, there is no winning.

 

Won’t trust them again.

Yeah, for a guy that was critical of his own game plan in the first TB game, there's a lot to be annoyed with in regards to the HC's play calling. Burn them on a deep go once? CHECKDOWNS THE REST OF THE WAY!!!!

This result shouldn't really be surprising to anyone given management did next to nothing to improve the team to win now. Why would anyone think we'd go any further than last year?

They've got the talent. They're just chocking another one away. Adams drops a TD, Jones fumbles for the second time, 8 seconds, no TO's, we play single high man, Rodgers throws a pick when we're getting into scoring position, Brady a TD.

 

I really can't fault Gute for this. Would have been nice to at least give Tramon a try if you're going to bring him in...but hey, why bother.

Rodgers is plenty guilty. His dumb pick to a nonexistent window set the wheels off the bus.

 

Tampa is a much better team.

 

This is a final blow for me though. At home, favored, and a humiliating egg. If Rodgers wins a second ring it's not going to be with the Packers.

Rodgers threw one pick and it was only because of a pretty obvious PI/hold. Maybe even a completion chance without that hold. He also had a TD to Adam’s that Adam’s messed up not just once...but twice.

 

I mean yah...I suppose we can blame Rodgers for not throwing, catching, and reffing all at the same time.
