Suppose there are a few journeymen on the roster to shuffle through first, but Green has to be getting a serious look.

Zavolas has to be dying to pitch. Begins season in Biloxi, gets pushed back to make a start for Nashville instead, Nashville's game postponed, sent back to Biloxi to start tonight and now that gets postponed.

Redbirds Slug Past Sounds in Nashville's Home Opener

Memphis Launches Four Homers in Rout

Sounds reliever Hoby Milner was a bright spot out of the bullpen. The southpaw struck out all three batters he faced in the seventh.

Interesting aspect during Brewers road trips, as players will be pulled from the Sounds' roster.

Gee, the Brewers are desperate for a hot, right-handed hitting corner infielder, and the roster crunch strikes again as Zach Green is not on the 40-man roster.

18 K's by Mudcat batters -- Freddy Zamora and Joey Wiemer each 0-for-4 with golden sombrero's. Only Holt and Felix Valerio atop the order avoiding the strikeout curse.

Holt and his .966 OPS has fanned only once in 23 AB's.

Haven't seen in action yet:

Nashville RH reliever Chad Sobotka

Wisconsin RHP Nathan Patterson

Well, RHP Noah Zavolas too, but that's Mother Nature and roster circumstances.
