Also will point out that Biloxi will first complete a suspended game in which they will be the road team despite being in Biloxi tonight (they lead 3-0 in the 2nd inning).

Leo Crawford picks up where the since-promoted Andy Otero left off in the bottom of the 2nd inning in a previously-suspended game with a 3-0 Shuckers’ lead. No other lineup changes were required.

A second game (7 innings, I believe) will follow subsequently tonight.

It looks like RHP Wade Beasley (2018 24th round pick that signed for $257,500 bonus) didn’t make it through one batter in his first appearance since 2018 (rehab for ACL Blue). Rough. Let’s hope this is a minor set-back.

Hummel 0-for-3 for a walk, but I'm impressed with the act he averaged 6.5 pitches per PA.

Bottom 1st: 7 pitches, pops out to catcher.

Bottom 4th: 6 pitches, strikes out on a 2-2 count

Bottom 6th: 7 pitches, strikes out swinging on a 3-2 count

Bottom 7th: 6 pitches, draws a bases-loaded walk on a 3-2 count

Box, completion of suspended game: Montgomery (Rays) 6, Biloxi 5, seven innings

Box, regularly scheduled game: Biloxi 5, Montgomery 4

Biloxi Extends Winning Streak To Seven Straight With 5-4 Win

Shuckers Fall In Continuation of Suspended Game Against Montgomery

By Garrett Greene

Sneaky way to technically extend the winning streak after a brutal walk-off loss in the Shuckers' home ballpark.

Looks like a 1-2-3 inning for Justin Topa in the opener, but it was anything but.

- Infield single

- Fielders choice error by Topa, placing runners on 1st and 2rd

- Picks off the runner on 2nd

- 4-6-3 GIDP

Box: ACL Brewers Gold 7, ACL Padres 4

Mario Feliciano 2-for-4 as rehab continues to roll along.

Let's not forget what Venezuelan middle infielder Carlos Roa did in the DSL as a 17-year-old in 2019 - .417/.423/.625 start in 13 games before undergoing left shoulder surgery that July.

Roa hit two home runs here, giving him three on the young season. He also walked twice for a perfect day at the plate.

Box: ACL Indians 7, ACL Brewers Blue 5

18-year-old Venezuelan catcher Jeferson Quero living up to the hype. Big game here, minus the four SB against. (he's thrown out 3 of 12 thus far, small sample, of course).

Two hits a walk and a stolen base, for yeah, this guy's daily mention.

It looks like RHP Wade Beasley (2018 24th round pick that signed for $257,500 bonus) didn’t make it through one batter in his first appearance since 2018 (rehab for ACL Blue). Rough. Let’s hope this is a minor set-back.

Walk was charged to Beasley, but the play-by-play seems to indicate that he didn't complete the sequence. He had right rotator cuff surgery April 2019. Sigh.
