He’s laying on top of bodies. Not sure how he’s down

He fumbled then regained possession on top of a heap of bodies with forward progress completely stopped. At some point the play is over and the ruling on the field is no TD.

Shouldn't get overturned

Frankly can't overturn this because you can't say his knee ISNT down.

Let's move it back a millimeter.

Jeez....Kyler Murray is going to watch this tape and salivate based on this qb running everywhere at will.

Also, can a green bay defender recover a dang fumble cleanly? This is a terrible officiating call...

I wish people would get off Gary's back. Sure there are times he looks like he's not even on the field, but when it comes time to make a big play he always seems to make one.

I’ve been critical of Gary in the past, but he’s earned my respect this season. I questioned why they’d take him #12 overall when they devoted so much capital to the Smiths in free agency. Even if he breaks out, they pretty much waisted 2 out of his 4 ‘value years.’ That’s not Gary’s problem, but again, I question the choice as the best use of draft capital.

I don't think Savage had that ball, but I don't think there's any way they can say he didn't on review.

He should have... But he didn't.

I don't know if they can overturn this. If they ruled GB had a clear recovery before the Redskins player jumped on it is that even reviewable?

They can review a clear recovery. The question is whether you can say for sure the Washington player had a clear recovery after savage failed. Which I think he did, sadly.
