So , that means he has had plenty of time off . just because its early doesn't mean these games don't count.

Brewers do all this stuff to keep guys from being hurt and we still have two thirds of the team out with injuries

this is called the Strasburg effect

One of the reasons I don't go to Sunday  games . always seems to be weird throw away lineups.

Of course they all count the same. But the difference is that there's still several more months of baseball that these guys have to get through. Plus, Urias and Hiura have both hit Wainwright well whereas Adames hasn't so I'm sure he figured today would be as good a day as any.

I like you, man., but this is just not true. The season series is currently tied and we're losing by one run...

My main issue with Counsell this year is his usage of Hader. He's the most underutilized elite reliever in baseball. Compare that to how the Cardinals are using Helsley, Gallegos, and Cabrera....

I know … just tired of a month or more of mediocre baseball

Not quite that long, but yeah me, too. Hopefully better days lie ahead and we don't suffer any more injuries to our rotation.

If they can get a couple of multi inning middle relief guys up to speed CC needs to rethink how he handles Lauer and Houser.

More old new school CC with openers.

Ughh why did Counsell have Lauer pitch to Goldschmidt and Arenado....

Counsell's been leaving his starters in too long this year more times than we'd like.

The argument could be made that his hand is forced by a shorthanded pen and not having the guys he'd like to have in the pen, but at the same time, Houser and Lauer especially have been hung out to dry a few too many times.

It seems to me that we’ve only played 10-12 good games this year
