If we lose this game it's going to be difficult not to look back on Hiura's massive brainfart in the second inning. Should have been 3-0.

Boy this offense has completely shut down since that 2nd inning. Shocking

Hey, they've been the second-best scoring offense in baseball over the past few weeks. Lodolo is a good pitcher and we should have two more runs against him.

It’s a pretty typical performance against a pitcher with a pulse.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

They hit the Yankees' pitchers around pretty good last weekend, including Cole.

And the Mets' pitchers, too, other than Scherzer. 2nd highest scoring offense in baseball over the last few weeks. #8 on the season. But sure.

Pheww. I hope we show no interest in bringing Boxberger back this offseason. He's been great for us in general, but it just feels like he's starting his downslide.

oh FRRRRAAAAPPPP!

Edit: It's always good to have a word to substitute for another 4 letter word that starts with F when children or grandchildren are around.

So, Mets pitchers other than the good one. They didn’t face deGrom or Bassitt.

These deadline acquisitions sure have “anchored” the bullpen.

Two years in a row. Stearns should never be allowed to acquire relievers at the deadline again.

Adames has had a tough series. A lot of really bad swings.

Yelich has had an abysmal series.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Literally every Mets starter has been good this year. Definitely have a "pulse". Also, #2 offense in MLB over the last month or so, and #8 on the season.

Well that's at best half a game down today and possibly a full game depending on if the Phillies hold on to their lead.

I've had a bad feeling the Cards were bringing in the dagger to kill our season for about a week now...
