Mitchell has been bad called 3 times this game. Should have had a walk 1st AB. And yikes has 2 great takes both called strikes. I feel he's had the most bad ump calls this year for any Brewer and it's not even close.

Neither of those are starters...It may not happen this month, and Houser is returning, but it would behoove Arnold not to continue to look outside the organization. Particularly so long as Gasser continues to struggle with command in AAA.

It's just one name, though it's one I would target. They did trade each of Cole, Musgrove, Taillon with 2 years of control left...

But yes probably unlikely within the division. (Though, they traded us Jordan Lyles once upon a time).

So much for making Hilberts pitch count high early. Just 15pitches last 2 innings combined. He could pitch 7 with matching that fear in 6&7.

Yeah I guess bragging was wrong word choice. He's had 1 game started since 2019.  And I think bullpen projection was his pre-draft expectation just as a backup if the attempt to stay starting didn't work out. I'd be surprised if Milw had any intention to ramp him up to be a starter.

 

Hopefully bullpen can nail down a tie game.

You never know. A starter in triple A is usually a starter in the majors. I'm not saying he'll be good or anything. I'm just saying he's a starter.
