How much more of this awful play is it going to take for people to realize we need to trade Burnes and accept this team is not good enough.

About another 7-8 weeks is my guess.

They aren’t going to trade Burnes when they are in first place……I feel confident of that……

Considering it might only take 78 wins or so to win this division they will probably keep him which is stupid.

78 wins is not going to win the division

I like Taylor , but man , he just can't be counted on to do anything ! like to replace him but with who ? Maybe when Urias comes back put him at third and Anderson in right .

Burnes not pitching great…….Brewers in first place by 2 games…even though everybody is hurt or underperforming …..it’s May 30…….” Hey let’s give up on the season……even though we are unlikely to get much more then if we wait until the trade deadline or even the offseason “

I don’t know, after tonight the Brewers are on a pace for 84 wins, and they have a challenging month in June.

I am a betting man and I would bet a large sum of money that the division winner will have more than 78 wins.

They’re in first so to the terrible division they play in. They’d be no better than second in 4 of the other 5 Divisons and would be 3rd in the NL West, AL west and 4th in the AL East.

Of course they’re not going to trade Burnes, but when they drop 6 out of 8 series in a month, somebody is going to wrest first place from them, then come July they will trade him.

What’s the current over under on the Brewers?

Taylor had some value when we didn't have a DH and was useful as late inning pinch-hitting and defense but now with the DH he's just a bad fit as he's just simply not good enough to be an everyday player.

I like the guy and he was a great story but it's time to move on unless somebody can fix that excessive launch angle.

It's really depressing when you look at the Brewer team batting average versus the rest of the NL over the last 5 years.

Why? The balanced schedule is killing these mediocre and bad teams in this division.  I think the cardinals are being exposed the most.  Unfortunately this may mean we don’t trade Burnes because it’ll be almost impossible to fall out of the division race IMO

It has only happened once where a division winner finished under 500, just not going to happen.
