I think you might have missed the part where I said it doesn't necessarily mean a non-tender or that even if they didn't keep him he has trade value.

Who’s going to trade for a 4th outfielder with a significant elbow injury to his throwing arm?

Wish Jon all the best. Good chance he lands back in Nashville?

Yes, because he’s comfortable there. This is a guy who re-upped on a minor league deal in early 2023 despite the fact that it meant that he was ineligible to have his contract selected by his MLB club in the first month of the season (due to DFA rules).

That said, I personally wouldn’t mind to see him venture out, bet on himself to make it elsewhere since I’m not sure he’ll get another shot with the Brewers unless Tellez gets injured. I thought the Rockies were a good fit in the offseason. Now, the Marlins (minor league deal) may present the best opportunity. Or he can opt for fortune and fame in Japan or Korea.

I thought Singleton looked okay, all things considered.

I don't think he looks any worse than Tellez in any facet of the game.

...He put up a -8 OPS+

He is much, much worse at doing anything offensively than Tellez.

Small sample size.

Using the eye test, I thought he showed decent plate discipline, and eventually the power would have showed itself also.

With how Tellez has bene playing, I don't think many players could be 'much much worse' than how he's been doing.

I actually agree, he was definitely adjusting, while also missing out on three pulled homers by a yard or so round the foul pole
