Yes, but you got to beat the easy teams

There are no easy teams for this offense.

Good lord blue.  That’s not a damn strike

Maybe not, but is the top of the strike zone really supposed to be at or below the belt like in the TV box?

Its not too late to do the right thing and get a haul for Burnes tomorrow. I doubt it happens but this team isn't a serious championship contender and the Dodgers have just the right combination of young pitching to give us for Burnes.

I'm so close to agreeing with you ! Every game is a dogfight and after watching Atlanta kick our butt its hard to envision us getting by them ! They are on a way different level. And now struggling with Washington , a bottom feeder !

Wiemer needs to calm down his swing/load if he wants to be successful at this level

It irks me to no end that that was not addressed in the minors.

We have a negative run differential which tells us this isn't a good team.

Very disappointing loss.  Very low energy effort.  Nationals played with more passion.  Took a little longer this year but this is not a good start to this stretch.

That was the swing that got him to the majors.

As good as this organization has been at getting the best out of the pitchers they have been every bit as inept in getting anything out of the hitters.

This team really has no business buying. Their negative run differential suggests they aren't a particularly good team, and should they manage to eek out the division, I think the Braves have demonstrated how well the Brewers stack up against the NL's best. They are going to lose Woodruff and Burnes for nothing and have zero to show for it.

With the upcoming talents they have in Biloxi, they should just be patient and sell Burnes while they can to beef up the farm for their next window, but they won't.

Yeah.      I think this is going to be an ugly finish again this year.    Probably third place.          We should finish ahead of cardinals though

And that's the swing that's going to make it a short stay.

This is a pretty typical performance for the Brewers “taking care of business” against the likes of the Rockies, Tigers, and A’s:

Day 1- just take care of business.

Day 2- Just win the series

Day 3- Let’s salvage one.

I'd be happy salvaging the future by getting a great deal for Burnes tomorrow.
