It's not that simple. You play matchups and the hot hand, too. Frelick also went 0for with 2 ks last night, whereas TT is a righty and has heated up. They're easing him in.

So in your opinion every young player in the Brewers system is subject to some weird rule that they can't play every day? I dunno about that. I certainly hope that when Chourio gets here he's not sitting two days a week so a Blake Perkins type can get in there. Not sure how you get better at doing things without doing them but hopefully Taylor will produce.

Burnes has had an annoying number of non competitive 2 strike pitches tonight. 

it annoys me because it adds pitches to his count and suggests that his command is not at its best. Some times that is an omen for a bad inning coming up.

Wiemer has basically played every day this season. He's second in games played behind Yelich.

You want to simplify things when it's not that simple. You want to protect him match-up wise, too. Was 0-3 with 2ks last night and facing a lefty today. He'll be back in the lineup tomorrow.

I hear your opinion, but I haven’t seen enough to conclude that he is absolutely better than Taylor, especially against a LHP

Also since Frelick debuted he's 5th on the team in PA. He's getting plenty of game time.

1-1 hr 3rbi so far. 1 ab is my point. If he's going to sit against lefties I have an issue with that because Taylor is not on his best day the player Frelick looks to be.

You’re entitled to your opinion but I won’t draw conclusions on a player at this embryonic stage of his MLB career and 1 AB against a low end LHP in a blowout game.

That and the lapses in concentration that extend innings.
