It looks like all 26 DSL season finales have been cancelled due to inclement weather.

We wish the players a terrific offseason and hope to see many of them on the MILB Spring Training roster next year.

Any chance a guy like Yophery Rodriguez finishes out his season in Carolina? Or is that more likely to happen with the ACL guys like Pratt, Bitonti, etc?

Yophery is more likely on the Chourio-Lara track - hoping to shine in 2024 Extended Spring Training, skip ACL ball and join Low-A Carolina in April/May 2024.

Pratt just turned 19 and is hitting well (.356 AVG / .426 OBP / .444 SLG in 54 PAs), so hopefully that pushes the Brewers to promote him to Carolina now.

I'd think that Juan Baez (18 - .952 OPS) and Satchell Norman (21 - .897 OPS) could also get a look, along with some pitchers (harder to predict - e.g. Root (24 yo), Moore (24 yo - return to full season affiliate after injury/recovery), Whiting (24 yo), Yoho (23 yo - 8th rounder), Austin (23 yo - 10th rounder), Hunt (23 yo), Kuehner (22 yo - 7th rounder), Brailin Rodriguez (21 yo - return to full season affiliate after injury/recovery)).

Was thinking we’d see Misiorowski tonight but Carlos Rodriguez is listed as the scheduled starter, which isn’t a bad thing at all.

Pessimist: Misio is hurt.

Optimist: Misio will dazzle in 3 innings of relief tonight, sparking media discussion of possible MLB call-up.

Either that or they're simply skipping his turn through the rotation to limit his innings.

Not the ideal start for Carolina who have seen their 2nd half division lead trickle to just 2.0 games. Vallecillo doesn't make it out of the 1st inning. 0.1 IP, 2 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 1 SO, 1 HBP with runners on 2nd and 3rd when he was pulled.

Oh boy Calzadilla comes in and gives up a 3-run HR to the 1st hitter he faced. 7-0 Columbia with still only 1 out in the 1st.

Toro single, followed by Dorrian and Miller doubles, then a pair of fly ball outs from Jahmai and Navarreto netted Nashville three runs in the top of the second.

Sounds went off for four more top of five via Black walk, Hiura single, Toro bomb, Miller bomb.

And now Keston has left the yard for the 22nd time this year.

9-3 Nashville with Toro on 2nd (double), Dorrian on 1st (walk) and two out top of six. Miller at the plate.

A ton of offense from Nashville tonight but Tyler Black is 0-3 and continues to struggle a bit. Still getting his walks and not striking out much but I’m impatiently waiting for him to start hitting like he was in Biloxi.

Biloxi finally on the board via Chourio single, to second on an error, to third on a Collins groundout, to home on a Quero sac fly.

Trailing 7-1 top of seven.

Mudcats have scratched out a third run with Castillo singling home Adams, who had doubled.

They’ve got six outs left to get five runs with Sibrian, Avina, Areinamo due up bottom eight.

TRats have taken a 4-2 lead in the bottom of six with Boeve walking, advancing to third on an errant pickoff, Gray Jr walking, stealing second, and then Wood doubling them both home.
