I couldn't watch the game live so I'm watching a replay on Bally Sports Florida right now (I have Sweet Adelines rehearsals every Tuesday).  The Marlin announcers are singing the praises of Burnes, Woody and Freddy.  Donaldson just hit his homer.  I sure hope Canha is okay...

It's probably something to do with feeling confident in Megill against lower half of the Marlins order, hence being able to face them a third time but Arraez, Bell, Chisholm etc just the two times, hence getting more out of him.

I assume you mean Rea, but I think you’re on the right track. 
 

My read on it is that Rea doesn’t go more than 5 innings anyway, so have Megill face the top of the order and to treat it like a late game situation and possibly pitch into the second. Then have Rea ready and hope he can get to the seventh.

Luis Arráez is a .350 hitter so he has been hitting everyone.  At least he only has 7 homeruns but you can pitch around one hitter if there is a man in scoring position. Soler is no pushover either but he has been slumping as of late.
