Cubs (Hendricks) vs Brewers (Rea): 9/29/23, 7:10pm

anyone who saw that ninth and homer for the cubs and it sounded like a home a game at wrigley, even the most optimistic fan had to be happy that we weren’t going to play three games against Chicago next week.      That would have been a bunch of nonsense with them filling at least half the stadium

I’m from New London which is right next to Hortonville.  Both incredibly small towns.   To see a guy from Hortonville fulfilling his dream and pitching at home for his childhood team is just too much.  It’s so incredibly cool. 
 

a side note which has zero relevance- he is the cousin to my cousins husband.

I was at the game last night, and I can tell you it's been a lot worse in the past. Brewers fans were louder and more numerous than Cubs fans.

Just finally got a chance to watch the MLB debut of the Wizard of Boz.  What a cool game.
